Critics love "The Good Fight," a spinoff of CBS's "The Good Wife" starring Christine Baranski. But viewers without a subscription to CBS's paid streaming service (CBS All Access) may have missed out on watching the first three seasons. That is why on Sunday nights this summer CBS is showing the first three seasons to prepare fans for season four coming next year.

According to CBS, the show picks up one year after the events of the final episode of "The Good Wife." An enormous financial scam has destroyed the reputation of a young lawyer while simultaneously wiping out the savings of her mentor and godmother Diane Lockhart, played by Baranski.

"The Good Fight" is the brainchild of Michelle and Robert King, who also created "The Good Wife." Broadway Stages is grateful that the Kings and CBS chose our studios in Greenpoint Brooklyn to film both shows. The Kings' latest creation, "Evil," will air on CBS this fall. And like those other two shows, "Evil" was filmed right here in Brooklyn at one of our studios.

Be sure to check out "The Good Fight" on Sunday nights on CBS all summer, and keep an eye out for news on the upcoming season four, filming now at Broadway Stages.

CBS's "Evil" Debuts at San Diego Comic Con

This fall, CBS will explore the origins of evil. Last week, lucky attendees of San Diego Comic Con got a sneak peek at the network's terrifying new show aptly called "Evil," filmed right here at one of our studios in Greenpoint, Brooklyn.

The show is the latest venture from Michelle and Robert King, who also created "The Good Wife" and its spinoff "The Good Fight," also filmed here at Broadway Stages. According to CBS, "Evil" is a psychological mystery that follows the adventures of forensic psychologist Kristen Bouchard who joins a priest-in-training and a carpenter as they investigate the church's backlog of unexplained mysteries. Whether investing supposed miracles, demonic possessions, or hauntings, their job is to assess if there's a logical explanation or if something truly supernatural is at work. If the trailer is any indicator, the show will be truly frightening.

Stars Katja Herbers, Mike Colter, Michael Emerson, Aasif Mandvi, and the Kings discussed the show at Comic Con last week. Following the panel discussion, the pilot episode debuted to a packed house. Attendees reportedly jumped out of their seats during one particularly chilling scene.

We are so excited to see the latest collaboration between the Kings, CBS, and Broadway Stages, and we thank them for their loyalty to our studios and contributions to the New York film industry. Watch the cast and creators discuss the show, check out the trailer, and tune in to CBS on Thursday, Sept. 26 at 10 p.m. ET for a scary good time.

The cast and crew of "BrainDead," a CBS episodic television show produced at Broadway Stages, spent several days ‘location-filming’ in Queens at Cryder Point Apartments. As a token of appreciation for their patience and cooperation during filming at the apartment complex, the producers of “BrainDead” provided ice cream to residents and neighbors. Blue Bloods, CBS, and Broadway Stages Donate $25,000 to the Families of Slain NYPD Officers Rafael Ramos and Wenjian Liu

This past Wednesday, Jane Raab produced our most moving scene of the season. At the offices of the Detectives' Endowment Association in Manhattan, Donnie Wahlberg and Will Estes awarded a check for $25,000 from "Blue Bloods," CBS, and Tony Argento to the families of slain NYPD officers Rafael Ramos and Wenjian Liu. With Detective Jim Nuciforo ably handling the logistics and NYPD Commissioner Bill Bratton graciously presiding, it was a memorable moment where our fictional world intersected in solidarity with their tragically real one. Thank you to the Detectives' Endowment Association and the NY Police Department for keeping us safe.
