Staten Island Proud | The Kova

This year marks the 40th anniversary of Broadway Stages. In celebration of our 40th trip around the sun, we are shining the spotlight on the heart of our community – the local businesses that provide the essential or simply enjoyable goods and services that allow us to thrive and delight in this great city we call home. We continue our series in Staten Island and feature the local establishments that line our streets, providing a livelihood and rich culture for our neighbors, family, and friends. Join us as we get to know the people and organizations that make our community home. Today, Broadway Stages takes you to brunch at The Kova on Richmond Road on Staten Island!

The Kova opened shop on Richmond Road on Staten Island in 2019. Offering a selection of delectable, classic breakfast options such as eggs benedict, omelets, pancakes, and baked goods, this little shop has earned a reputation for having some of the best customer service and delicious  food.

Throughout the day, they also offer some “brunch-y” options in the form of sandwiches like a Sriracha Jam Grilled Cheese, Beef and Chicken Rotis, the classic Bacon, Egg, and Cheese sandwich, and sides such as sweet potato fries, and more. So, if you prefer to rise a little later in the day, you don’t have to worry about missing out.

For those looking for a morning, or afternoon pick-me-up, the Kova has an elaborate drink menu featuring a variety of coffees and teas brewed fresh, and seasonal drinks like homemade lavenderlLemonade.

The Kova is open from 9 am to 4 pm every day of the week except for Tuesdays. Seating is limited, and the food is excellent, so we suggest you also consider checking out the menu and ordering to-go with either Uber Eats or Door Dash. The only thing better than a great meal out is enjoying a wonderful meal while  lounging at home!

We encourage you to check out their Instagram and Facebook pages, where you can find a slew of their tasty options and stay up to date on promos, events, and menu changes. As always, tell them Broadway Stages sent you.
