Broadway Stages President Gina Argento strives to create a creative learning experience for children through the Community-Word Project (CWP).

The CWP dedicates itself to educate and develop children from first grade through high school in literacy and the arts. CWP established the Collaborative Arts Residencies program, which partners professional writers, artists, dancers, and musicians together to develop an immersive artistic learning experience for young students.

The St. Ignatius School recently held its 20th Anniversary Scholarship Benefit, and Gina, on behalf of Broadway Stages, contributed to ensure that students continue to have access to scholarships that support their educational studies. She hopes that her investment will inspire others to get involved in providing quality education for middle school students.

Gina is also committed to funding the school's robotics program, which allows students to explore STEM-based education and offers hands-on learning. The program is a great way to introduce middle school students to the fundamentals of robotics and computer science.

The Flushing YMCA at JHS 189 is a community-based organization that is focused on cultivating experiences for youth development and education. The YMCA endorses a journalism program to encourage student participants to create and publish an annual YMCA magazine. As part of the program, participants enjoy a Broadway show to mimic real-life journalism with this year's review set for Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.

This year's budget was reduced, so funding was needed to purchase tickets and secure transportation to the event. As part of her commitment to advancing local educational opportunities, Gina financed the remainder of the needed funds. Gina Argento, President and CEO of Broadway Stages, is an avid supporter of the preservation of wildlife in New York City. Determined to protect New York City's wildlife, Gina financially contributes to the New York City Audubon, a collection of community members dedicated to the protection of bird species and nature. She is also contributing to its Fall Roost, an annual benefit that raises money to support conservative efforts.

Gina's contributions will be used to fund educational programs that teach New Yorkers about the importance of wildlife conservation and offer them opportunities to help. Her participation in the New York City Audubon Fall Roost also celebrates the $150,000 raised to expand conversation efforts in Governor's Island as part of the Governor's Island initiative.

Children from Brooklyn's John Ericsson Middle School 126 are going to space camp in Montreal, Canada, thanks to the generosity of Broadway Stages' CEO and President Gina Argento.

As a supporter of local Brooklyn education and Brooklyn communities, Gina has contributed financial donations to a fundraiser that will help 13 students begin their space odyssey!

Space camp allows students to operate and experience the elements of a real-life space mission, with fully equipped space suits. Students will have the surreal experience of being in space while learning about the history and the future of space exploration.
