Brooklyn Film Festival 2019
/The 2019 Brooklyn Film Festival (BFF) kicks off on Friday, May 31 and runs through Sunday, June 9. The 133 films featured at the 2019 BFF will compete for six awards, including:

The competition begins on opening night, with the film Above the Shadows, a supernatural tale that follows a young woman (Olivia Thirlby) who has faded from the world to the point of becoming invisible. Directed by Claudia Myers, the world premiere of this film — in the category of narrative feature — will be shown at the Wythe Hotel.
