Broadway Stages had the honor of working with Betty Hulson and the 94th Precinct Community Council to support this year's National Night Out. National Night Out, held annually throughout the United States, brings together local precincts and members of the community to promote awareness of crime and safety.

Broadway Stages, "Blue Bloods," and "The Good Wife" Sponsor Community Toy Drive
/Thank you to Elizabeth Hulsen and the Community Council of the 94th Precinct for bringing together such a wonderful group of kids for a successful toy drive. This year, nearly 100 kids received toys, built gingerbread houses, decorated reindeer antlers, enjoyed snacks with Santa, and took photos in the booth.

Broadway Stages donated books and backpacks for the Back to School Fair with the Greenpoint YMCA. They also donated funds to provide scholarship opportunities for families in Greenpoint and Williamsburg.

Broadway Stages Helps Send Brooklyn Kids to Camp

Broadway Stages is a longtime supporter of Camp Brooklyn Fund, an organization that gives children from low-income Brooklyn families the chance to escape the urban landscape for a few weeks by attending sleep-away camp.
With the support of sponsors including Broadway Stages, Camp Brooklyn raised enough money to send more than 80 kids to accredited camps this summer for an experience they'll never forget. Thank you to the board of directors and Marty Markowitz for opening up opportunities for children all over Brooklyn.

Broadway Stages Supports Environmental Education Program

ExxonMobil and Broadway Stages funded the S.Y.S.T.E.M Teen Summer Program, which came to an end at the Lentol Garden Wednesday afternoon. Through the program, 12 New York City high school students developed skills to become future leaders of environmental studies. The Greenpoint YMCA and the NYU Wallerstein Collaborative for Urban Environmental Education developed the program with a focus on the integration of STEM standards.

Broadway Stages, CBS's "The Good Wife" (filmed at Broadway Stages), and Greenpoint YMCA sponsored the Night Out Against Crime, an event celebrating and promoting safer neighborhoods. In Greenpoint, the 94th Precinct discussed ways to prevent crime and highlight neighborhood watch groups and other crimefighting efforts. Thank you to Betty Hulson and the crew of the 94th Precinct Community Council for putting together another amazing event full of food, rides, and music.
